Pound Ridge St.Patrick’s Day Senior Luncheon
We made centerpieces for the Pound Ridge St.Patrick’s Day Senior Luncheon. We used shoe boxes for the base and various suckers to look like flowers and of course, felt shamrocks for the leaves. It was enjoyed by all!

Catnip Toys for Our Local Cat Shelter “The Cat Community”
Thank you to all who came to the Library yesterday, January 24 for Crafts for a Cause. It was lots of fun and everyone was very creative with and enthusiastic about making catnip toys for our local cat shelter “The Cat Community”. I have attached a photo of some of the toys we made. Christa has arranged to deliver the toys and play/socialize with the cats and kittens this Saturday, January 28 at 11am. All are welcome and encouraged to join.
Neighbor Senior Halloween Luncheon
Creating centerpieces and party favors for the Neighbor to Neighbor Senior Halloween luncheon at the Library on Wednesday, October 12 was well attended. We had many old and new volunteers… so many in fact that all the work was completed in one day. Thank you to all the energetic and enthusiastic volunteers that were able to help and apologies to all with a holiday/schedule conflict that prevented them from coming. October was a difficult month to schedule this year. (Please see attached photo collage) We promise to keep everyone informed about the upcoming dates and plans for any new Crafts for a Cause projects. Christa already has ideas about making cat toys for the local rescue cat shelter. We are hoping to organize this project sometime in January. I will email everyone with more details when we have them. Best, Maureen M. McManus
