Murray will discuss the practical steps behind this transformation, from reducing mowing and encouraging natural regeneration to introducing native trees and shrubs while maintaining
the beauty and function of the land. His work has already welcomed back more than 125 bird species, along with countless pollinators.
There will be a brief talk at the library before you head over to Murray’s property. His property is located in the village and you will be taking a woodland path which connects at the Bedford Presbyterian Church parking lot. Please make sure that you wear suitable footwear for the program.
