Celebrate National Poetry month at the Library. Join us for a series of three conversations about major American poets of the 19th and 20th centuries. We will sample poems of Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson, Wallace Stevens and William Carlos Williams, Langston Hughes and Robert Frost. All the poems can be found in Six American Poets: An Anthology, edited by Joel Conarroe.

Robert DiYanni is a professor of humanities at New York University. His latest book is You Are What You Read—A Practical Guide to Reading Well; forthcoming later this year is Read for Your Life—How Literature Can Enrich Your Life.
