This is for Beginning Sewers
Learn the basics of sewing with two library staffers who have been sewing their whole lives! A true hands on class, participants will learn the fundamentals of sewing and have their own sewing machine to practice new skills.
You will make various projects and learn these skills:
- how to use a sewing machine
- straight and curved sewing
- measuring, marking, pinning, cutting
- the use of sewing tools
- how to embellish your projects
