We are so pleased to host an evening discussion between local author Laura Hawk and her close friend of many years, Andrea Raisfeld, prominent location scout. Laura and Andrea will explore Laura’s many years working and traveling as an assistant with the iconic photographer, Slim Aarons, and her memories of the extraordinary women from the upper echelons of high society, the arts, fashion, and Hollywood that he photographed all over the world. The book presents the women who most influenced Aarons’ life and work, and the other remarkable personalities he photographed along the way, including Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, Diana Vreeland, and Marilyn Monroe.
