Must commit to all sessions!
This three class workshop will focus on the foundations of drawing and painting birds, from finding basic shapes and defining accurate anatomy, to building value through color. Through in-class demonstrations and instruction, participants will learn the stages of creating a representational drawing and how to apply watercolor. A wide selection of photographs will be provided to use as reference and inspiration. Throughout the course, we will discuss bird anatomy, including simple skeletal structure and feather groups, as well as how birds get their beautiful colors. No matter your level of expertise in drawing, painting or birds, this course is a great way to practice drawing, expand your painting skills, and learn about the beauty of birds in a relaxed atmosphere!
All materials will be supplied.
