Battle of the Books is a program that was started in the Fall of 2014. Teams from individual libraries work during the summer and early fall to master 4 books in their age group (4-6 grade or grade 6-9). Prior to the competition against other Westchester Libraries the teams practice trivia questions and different strategies for the big event. Bedford Free Library will be fielding a team for grades 4-6 and the team leaders will be Maureen McManus and Kathy Storfer. Look for more information as we get closer to the summer. This event will take place at Ossining High School.
